Pandas at the Zoo

For Father's Day, we visited the Smithsonian National Zoo in DC. The girls got to see the panda bears and had to see the flamingoes ( Kasey now wants a flamingo for our yard). By the time we left the zoo, they were "panda-fied".

Went to Mel & Jason's wedding in VA. We arrived on Friday afternoon (6/15), went to the rehearsal dinner, out the door at 8am the next morning to get to the church, wedding was at 10:30am in a cute teeny weeny stone church in Bluemont, VA outside Leesburg, went to the reception at a mansion with a beautiful view of the countryside until 3pm, then back home to the Abbott's to set-up for the post-reception BBQ at their house. All and all it was a good time, wished we had more time to hang-out with the Keppels but maybe next time.

Visit to Danville

Stopped in Danville on the way to Virginia to give dad a squeeze for Father's Day and see their new addition to the family...a miniature greyhound. Spent the afternoon with the family and had dinner over at Tyler and Lacey's place. Laydon is adorable and very smiley. The girls got to play with Maisy and we even got to hang with Rodie-dog.

Princess Party!

Kasey is 6! Can you believe it? We had quite the princess extravaganza at our house to celebrate. Our friend, Mark, made the awesome princess castle cake. He makes cakes as a hobby...it was unbelievable. I think Kasey had 11 girlfriends at her party and they had a blast. She finally managed to get a Barbie Jeep as well. Dad was very proud as she fish-tailed around the yard:)
